π₯ Fruit
Can dogs eat kiwi?
Why
Kiwi flesh is not toxic to dogs and provides vitamins and fiber. The skin is tough and high in fiber and can upset the stomach, so it should be removed, and the fruit should be cut into small pieces to prevent choking. Because of its fiber, too much kiwi can cause diarrhea, and it should never replace balanced dog food.
How much is safe
A few small pieces of peeled kiwi as an occasional treat, kept within 10% of daily calories.
